Description: A fine Fischer & Reichenbach hard-paste porcelain figure of a seated sporting spaniel, naturalistically modeled with an expressive face, long black ears, finely delineated fur, and a brown, white, and black coat. The dog wears a gilt collar and rests upon a rectangular landscape base molded and hand painted with leafy vegetation and an earthen path.
Marks: Impressed F&R above model number 220.

Condition: Presents very well, with no obvious cracks, repairs, or substantial losses visible. Scattered light surface wear, minor rubbing to the painted and gilt decoration, small firing imperfections, and age-related discoloration are present. The numerous molded leaves and other projecting details should be examined for minute chips. Not examined under ultraviolet light.
